Our Journey

We decided to create a blog so we could share with family and friends about "our journey". Our son Noah is 4 years old and he is the constant light in our world. He was born with a rare genetic disorder called Rubinstein Taybi Syndrome.. Life has not always been easy but Noah has taught us how to be courageous. We are so proud of his accomplishments the past four years. He is beautiful, funny, courageous and strong. We feel so blessed God has chosen us to raise Noah.. We also hope that new parents receiving an RTS diagnosis will find comfort in our words. Nicholas is the perfect addition to our family. God has once again blessed us with a amazing, beautiful little boy. We are so comforted knowing that Noah now has a little brother. Life is beautiful having these two angels in our world.

It's Bath Time

One of Noah's favorite things to do is take a bath. This is where he babbles the most and laughs uncontrollably. He usually plays with his rubber duck and rubber cow but today he had a new game. He kept the washcloth in his mouth and laughed at himself. It was too cute to not take some pictures. I caught him the other night crawling around with a stuffed animal in his mouth. I think sometimes he thinks he's a dog like Rocky. He even shook his head like a dog would when I tried to take it out of his mouth. Just following after his big brother Rocky.. Enjoy the pictures..

Natalie kisses her stuffed animals, and then bites them on the nose. Her favorite, Tigger, should fall apart soon, but seems to be holding up well to her teeth. Thankfully she doesn't bite us!

Just like Logan, Natalie crawls or walks with her toys in her mouth sometimes.

Our Matt also LOVES putting clothes and toys in the mouth. He and Noah would get on well. Cute photos.

That is too cute. Austin used to take his socks off and crawl around the house with one hanging out of his mouth.
