Our Journey

We decided to create a blog so we could share with family and friends about "our journey". Our son Noah is 4 years old and he is the constant light in our world. He was born with a rare genetic disorder called Rubinstein Taybi Syndrome.. Life has not always been easy but Noah has taught us how to be courageous. We are so proud of his accomplishments the past four years. He is beautiful, funny, courageous and strong. We feel so blessed God has chosen us to raise Noah.. We also hope that new parents receiving an RTS diagnosis will find comfort in our words. Nicholas is the perfect addition to our family. God has once again blessed us with a amazing, beautiful little boy. We are so comforted knowing that Noah now has a little brother. Life is beautiful having these two angels in our world.

Silly Noah.

Noah absolutely loves the camera and everything about having his picture taken. He is truly a ham in front of the camera. Lately Noah's wonderful sense of humor is showing its face around here. He truly loves to make me laugh during the day and when I do he shows me a huge smile. I can see the satisfaction in his face when I am laughing. And that makes me laugh even harder and just feel so happy inside. Its so nice to see the different sides of his personality coming out more and more. Here are some pictures of Noah trying to make me laugh..

It's great when our kids can figure out how to make us laugh. It shows that they understand emotions! I love it!

Thanks for all of your prayers and support Kristi. Your comments and emails have been a huge encouragement to me. It's so reassuring to know that there are people that truly understand.

Look at that smile, it makes my day. Him and Sawyer are a lot alike they both love to smile for the camera!

James loves to make people laugh too! He likes to tell his "joke" (a back and forth shake of his head) to every new person he meets and likes - it's like a seal of approval!
